At the border between old and new, archaic and modern, Haita Land redefines the art of wilderness in modern times. Through minimalist cottages in a picturesque landscape, we provide an escape from the stressful today to a forgotten, quiet yesterday in the mountains. Where the last fragments of asphalt end, just before being swallowed by the forests of the Călimani National Park in Northern Romania, you climb onto a pasture, past the last trace of human settlement, and stop. This is Haita Land. We once stumbled upon this place, marveled, and couldn’t leave until we were sure we’d return. Fir trees and starlit skies whispered to us about a touristic mountain retreat, untouched by time. So, we started to craft it. Inspired by the mountain’s peaceful lines and colors, the chalets embrace a minimalist aesthetic. Light, wood, and comfort define the interiors, while the exteriors blend seamlessly with the wild beauty of the landscape.
